Dave Gleason has been practicing real estate since the spring of 1973. He was an associate broker with Norman S. Davis Real Estate until 1980 when he went on his own and started Gleason Real Estate. In 1985, he became affiliated with Coldwell Banker Gleason Real Estate and has enjoyed a premier position in the Bath-Brunswick real estate

market, until 2002 when he merged with DeWolfe to create Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

Dave attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Me. and graduated in 1970. In 1977, he received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. He has been a Realtor since the early 1990’s and has enjoyed leadership roles in both the state and local boards, having served as President of both the Maine Association of Realtors and the Statewide Multiple Listing Service. He was awarded the 1998 Merrymeeting Board - Realtor of The Year.

Some of his civic responsibilities include: board membership and past presidency of the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce, Bath-Brunswick Area United Way, United Pejepscot Housing, and the Curtis Memorial Library; past board member of the Midcoast Regional Hospital; Campaign Chairman of the 1982 United Way Campaign; and a

member of numerous local committees.

Dave received the Most Valued Member of the Chamber of Commerce Award in 1988 and the Joshua Chamberlain Award in 1991. He served as a member of the Brunswick Town Council from 1994 to 2002.

Dave was the Top Producer for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage New England in 2015 and 2016, closing more than 75 units per year and being recognized as an International President’s Premier Broker.

In April of 2024, Dave affiliated with his wife, Kim, at McAllister Real Estate in Hallowell and looks forward to a successful career in the Augusta area.
